Please forgive me if this has already been covered, but I have a question about activating channels on Roku. I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer.

In short, Sonic doesn't come up on the list of authorized internet providers when I want to activate a channel on the Roku. Is there a way for me to activate new channels using Sonic?

I hope so, because this is a big sticking point for some family members.

There are some channels - like ESPN - that you'll only get access to if you have a TV package with access to the channel. If that's what you are talking about, you'd need to purchase a separate TV plan from one of the listed companies that has that channel in its package as there's currently no way to pay for the channel through Roku.
