12/31/17 Our Sonic dual-line, static IP service began to bog down. We phoned support and were told we were "uploading" massive data and it was clogging our line.
We were uploading nothing.
6 hours spent disconnecting and individually connecting devices on our network and testing with Sonic.
We have a Pace modem, with 4 static IP addresses. Into that Pace modem we have had a Time Capsule since 2014.
Suddenly, our internet service went down. When it came back up, the Time Capsule could no longer recognize the signal and neither send nor receive.
Bought a new Time Capsule, it arrived after 3 days of no service.
Same issue, no internet signal recognized.
Phone call with apple, settings were correct and ISP (Sonic) is the issue.
Sonic service gets to the Pace, Sonic could ping the Apple Time Capsule, but no internet service to the Time Capsule.
Plugged in and configured an AirPort Extreme, and same issue.
Well??
