mac filtering on pace5268AC problem

I had a fiber hookup done today and now have a Pace 5268AC. I have a problem setting up mac filtering. When I turn on mac filtering, the devices do not connect or get disconnected. Yes, the mac addresses are correct and in the allowed list. Has anyone else had a problem like this, or is it maybe a firmware bug.
