I just took advantage of Sonic's automated service to automatically download WordPress.
I have just begun my first steps toward learning to use WordPress.

WordPress 3.2 has minimum requirements noted below.
Also, it is more secure when this type of PHP app runs using the account username instead of the server's default shared username. The most common way to do this is by using suPHP.

Does Sonic provide these four items?
PHP 5.2.4 or greater
MySQL 5.0 or greater
The mod_rewrite Apache module
suPHP

I called Support and the person I talked with was not able to say what versions or modules are currently being run/provided by Sonic. Instead he directed me to wiki.sonic.net. After looking there it is not apparent.
A clear answer will be most appreciated.
Does anyone have this information?

Yes, but you will need to enable php5 according to the guide at https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Php5

Note, that suPHP or similar methods of securing php are not required in our hosting environment. All requests, including requests for static content, are served with the apache process running as the user that owns the served content.
