How do i get this update? i have a wd mycloud that has the same issue--cant use with pace router.

I'm in need of this firmware update if it hasn't already been pushed to me.

Does anyone know what firmware version this update is?

Both ...314 and 396 have the update. We've been holding off on pushing these out to all customers due to issues found in the upgrade process. I'd be happy to push the upgrade to 314 to you, as long as you're comfortable re-changing the name of your 5G wireless network if that is forcibly changed during the upgrade, and you're fine with us remotely rebooting the device.

It looks like my Pace is already on software version xxx314. I'd have no issue with renaming the 5G ID or a reboot though if it's still needed though. Thanks for the response Adam.

It shouldn't be needed. Can you describe the exact issue you're seeing with your MyCloud?

It's intermittent connection issues, but I haven't thoroughly tested so my experiences are somewhat anecdotal. I could connect to view local files/folders and DNLA content for the most part.

This next few, I was using the WD mobile app, so it is entirely possible the app is garbage. During upload operations, it would run a few minutes then disconnect in the middle. I would try to "forget" and re-"add" the unit, and connection refused or no longer detected (the pop-up isn't specific).

I think the last two operations require a UserID, while the browsing functions don't. I did try both an apple device and an android device and both had the same issue. This lead me to believe that it's a network configuration issue and reminded me of this post.

Adam, any update on when the update will be pushed out? I just got set up with the 5268AC today and don't have a work around for my WD MyCloud.
