My posts seem to reflect a time of an hour after the post.

It's interesting to see others' posts before they're actually made.

Looks like it still thinking in daylight savings mode. 1 hour ahead.

Yeah, the banner at the bottom right says "All times are UTC - 8 hours [ DST ]."

I would assume "DST" means Daylight Savings Time.

But Pacific Daylight Time is UTC - 7. Pacific Standard Time is UTC - 8.

What's your timezone set to in your profile?

Everything seems to display correctly for me in PST, or GMT/UTC - 8.

There is a DST setting in addition to the time zone setting in the profile that asks

Summer Time/DST is in effect:
Yes No

Apparently, in this world of automatically adjusting for daylight savings on most machines, we must click a radio button to accomplish the same thing here.

Yup, it's the profile setting that bobrk suggested. Indeed, I'd assumed it was [re-]set automatically, but I was further confused by the banner that implied (to me, anyway) that UTC - 8 is DST.
