Hi,
I'm setting up a Freshdesk account and want emails sent from my Outlook account to successfully forward to my Freshdesk admin portal.

Freshdesk says this:
--------------------------------
Creating an SPF record to ensure proper email delivery

In addition to setting up your support email, you are sometimes required to create a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record with your domain name registrar to ensure that all your emails get delivered properly. An SPF record will ensure that emails sent from the specified domain are not marked as spam by any email clients. It can be done quickly, in a matter of minutes, by modifying your Domain Name System (DNS).

And here's how you do it:

Go to your domain registrar's website.
Login to the domain control panel.
Open your DNS configuration settings.
Edit your ZONE File and look for TXT or SPF record.
Specify the following value: v=spf1 include:email.freshdesk.com ~all .
Save your changes.
----------------------------------
So I opened my "Edit DNS" page and selected "Modify Host Records" and stopped in my tracks unsure of how to proceed. I THINK I want to "Add Record" with Type = TXT and Record = v=spf1 include:email.freshdesk.com ~all but I'm not sure if this is correct and I'm not sure what the "Name" should be if this is correct.

Please help!! Thanks!

Geo - you are absolutely on the right track. Just add the TXT record that you've mentioned. Leave the "name" blanks since you want this TXT record on the root of your zone.
