I'm using Sonic Webmail. If I send an email to a gmail address, it gets bounced back with the message that "this mail is unauthenticated, which poses a security risk to the sender and Gmail users, and has been blocked", etc. But if I send it a second time, it goes through!

I've been in contact Sonic support about this on 2 or 3 separate occasions, but so far they've been unable to solve the problem.

Anyone else having this problem?

Are you using an @sonic.net address or your own domain?

If the former, Support needs to resolve it. If the latter, you need to use some sort of authentication method in your domain's zone, such as an SPF record. Search this forum for "SPF" and you'll see several references.
