landlord will not approve fiber; Sonic repeatedly told me I would not be billed for that; now I am getting billed

This is really incompetent:

* My landlord will not approve fiber to our building.

* I have discussed this multiple times with Sonic. Repeatedly I was told that I will not get billed for not having fiber.

* Now I have been billed twice for not having fiber.

I used to recommend Sonic to everyone. Now I do not.

I’ll ask the team to determine what’s going on. Sorry for the mixup with billing. We’ll get that fixed.

Okie key point though: landlords cannot disallow your selection of telecom service. You have a right to choice, and we have an obligation to deliver service. We have just recently launched complaints at the public utility commission against a couple of large apartment building owners to compel access. It is frustrating and expensive for us and for them to reach that point, but the principal is important.
