I cannot for the life of me find any option to create a second mailbox, in the Roundcube webmail service. I do not want to create a new identity. The help page on this matter is of no help at all! Sonic service says that I am able to have 14 mailboxes total, at no extra charge. I'm confused. :(

Hello,

If you're looking to add additional email address please follow the guide here: https://help.sonic.com/hc/en-us/article ... il-Account

If that's not what you meant please let me know.

The page there says:

"If you need additional mailboxes, they can be purchased in groups of 4."

Okay, but what I found when I searched for help, was this page:

https://members.sonic.net/email/mailboxes/

Which said:

"Your account entitles you 14 mailboxes at no extra charge."

So I'm still confused.

The additional charge is after your first 15 mailboxes (including the main account). The sentence is in an awkward place, but the quota/charge information is pretty clear as to how many mailboxes you have / how many more you're allowed at no extra charge when you are on the member tools page.

I understand the additional charge beyond 15 mailboxes. But I still can't find the option to create even a second mailbox! Am I missing something here?

Sorry, it would be under the Add Email Account section:

1) Goto membertools.sonic.net and select email on the left hand side after logging in. (Or click this link https://members.sonic.net/email/mailboxes/)

2) Select Manage Mailboxes

3) It'll open a page with your existing mailboxes and on the left side is a text box under New Mailbox Name: Type in the name of the email. (For example: JohnDoe would give you JohnDoe@sonic.net) Then click continue.

4) If the username is available it will take you to a password page where you must type in a desired password for the new mailbox. After typing the password you'd like hit continue. That email should then be live and you would be able to log into it at webmail.sonic.net

I see now, thanks immensely. I was confused by the instructions...was afraid of my new addie replacing the original one. My new mailbox is now all set up and good to go!
