I found I can't open state.gov website in my browser. It seems sonic dns servers have problem resolving it:

host -v state.gov
Trying "state.gov"
Received 27 bytes from 208.201.224.11#53 in 918 ms
Trying "state.gov.sonic.net"
Host state.gov not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
Received 112 bytes from 208.201.224.33#53 in 3 ms

We do have new DNS server addresses online today, and I wonder if the same issue exists there. Are you manually setting the .11 and .33 IPs? If so, you might let that go automatic, and it'll set the current new IPs via DHCP. Do let us know if the new nameservers do not have the same issue, so we can chase it down on the legacy platform.

Here's news on the new DNS: https://sonicstatus.com/2020/10/09/new- ... erver-ips/

Dane: I gave this command from my sonic shell account, so I didn't specify them manually.

Hi, thanks for bringing this to our attention. The address should now resolve, and we are looking into why it wasn't working earlier.

Welcome! From what I could see the State Department rekeyed DNSSEC this morning and apparently didn't implement it cleanly. Glad it's working for you now and thanks again for reporting the issue.
