It has been a while and I am trying to assist wife to get her new computer hooked up. When going into Outlook I get asked for POP server and port and Imap server and port. Not sure what they should be or where I could find this on MY computer.

A pointer in the right direction would help greatly.

Incoming Server: imap.sonic.net
Incoming port with SSL: 993
Incoming port without SSL: 143

Incoming server: pop.sonic.net
Incoming port with SSL: 995
Incoming port without SSL: 110

Outgoing (SMTP) Server: mail.sonic.net
Outgoing port with SSL: 465
Outgoing port without SSL: 587


For receiving, I prefer IMAP to POP3 so that you can setup your email on multiple devices (like a computer and a phone) and they are synchronized. Also if your computer dies or gets stolen, your emails are safely on the server.
