Let renters know they need landlord approval

My wife and I loved Sonic Fiber and Sonic customer service at our old (normal) apartment, so when we moved we decided to pay extra to stick with Sonic Fiber through AT&T at our new place. Our new building is funky, the easiest way for AT&T to provide access was through a new arial line to our building. However they needed landlord approval for the new line. I couldn’t get in touch with my landlord in the hour they waited, so now I need to schedule a new installation appointment, probably another week or so without service at the new apartment.

This all could have been ameliorated if another bullet point was added to the “Please Remember” section of the installation email (attached below) saying something to the effect of, “If you do not own your property, you must obtain owner approval for internet installation.”

I hope Sonic uses the excellent customer service to make this simple addition to their installation email such that I can see this when my installation appointment comes up next week.
