I find this upgrade page confusing:

https://members.sonic.net/connections/s ... e/#/change

I'm paying 50 per month and getting 8.7 Mbps down and 0.89 Mbps up, over dsl. So I was looking at an upgrade. How is it possible to pay 70 for up to 20mbps for FX2 or 70 for up to 100mbps for Fusion IP Broadband FX2?

Sorry for the confusion.

Today you have Fusion X1, a copper-delivered DSL service with POTS voice. We can double that speed (X2), over that infrastructure, on Sonic's network. You can retain the POTS voice, a static IP if you use one, and remain on Sonic's own network.

We an also offer AT&T's IP Broadband, a resold product on their fiber network (the FX2 product), at a higher speed. Voice would be over IP, and it's not on Sonic's network so we have more limited capabilities in support, etc.

For every location, the offerings we can deliver vary - so anyone else looking at theirs will see different options.
