Email from Sonic categorized as junk by outlook/hotmail/live365

Is there some setting in my Sonic account that I can fix so that my email messages are not automatically sent to Microsoft email users' junk folders?

I set up a fresh Hotmail test account today. I did not change any Hotmail settings for junk email. I sent a few test messages and they all go to the junk mail folder except the ones I sent from my gmail account. I've pasted the header from my sonic.net email account. If anyone can troubleshoot headers, I'd appreciate suggestions.

I can't ask everybody to whitelist me.

Those are good suggestions, but unfortunately the most common reason emails from Sonic end up in the spam filters of Hotmail/Gmail/etc accounts has to do with a pattern more or less like this (and very likely isn't something you caused):
  1. Sonic account holder sets up a forward from their Sonic inbox to their third-party inbox
  2. Some spam messages get through, and are forwarded from Sonic to the third-party inbox
  3. User sees the spam and hits the "this is spam" link
  4. The third-party mail system has now been trained to think of Sonic's mailserver as spam-friendly
The moral of this story is that if you're forwarding from Sonic to a third-party mail provider, please don't use their "this is spam" link on messages coming from your Sonic account. We continue to improve our spam-filtering solutions, but it is and unfortunately always will be a moving target.

I'm not forwarding. I'm trying to email contacts of mine who are outlook/hotmail/live365 users. I cannot control what they do and do not click—especially if my messages from my sonic.net email account are automatically sent to their junk folders where they are never seen.

I understand, and as I said this probably wasn't something you were doing.

Neither can we, but unfortunately people who do forward their email to Hotmail and then mark as spam messages they received through that forward are contributing to the problem. Short of disabling forwards to Hotmail, Gmail, etc. the best we can do is try to educate people on the problem in hopes they'll stop.
