I had a terrible experience with DirectTV, being lied to by the technician regarding my eligibility for an AAA bundle discount. I called the DirectTV office ahead of time to verify my discount. I told the tech not to install anything if we couldn't verify the discount. Every phone call ended in an assurance that I could get the discount.
My installation was not discounted. I had my service terminated immediately and wrote to DirectTV. Finally, I defaulted on the bill.
I trust Sonic, but can never trust DirectTV again. They are real you-know-whats in my book.
