AT&T in talks to buy DirecTV for nearly $50 billion.

Dane will you sever link to DirecTV if this merger goes through? I am concerned since I use your product to avoid AT&T. You seem to have little interest in expanding fiber to Windsor (which is a mistake because there is a huge demand) so any IPTV service here would probably fail on bandwidth concerns alone (my speed has decreased with time not increased, from 12500 kbps to the result below).

Download Speed: 7740 kbps (967.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 842 kbps (105.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

We will wait and see what happens with this proposed merger.

That speed is fine for IPTV. Netflix and other streaming video works fine, right?

Looks like this is a done deal

As much as I hate to think it I'm going to have to go back to dish as soon as my friends and family credits expire.
I don't think there is any other choice to avoid both Comcast & AT&T
