Still would be super nice to have it for call-waiting for all the good reasons previously stated. Any update on when or if this can be expected in the future?

Call waiting settings can today be managed in the Member Tools and also our new iPhone app. Per-call *70 style call waiting disablement won't come until we complete a major update of our switching platform, likely late this year or early 2014.

I am following up, per support staff suggestion, regarding the per call blocking of the "call waiting" feature. It does not seem to be a feature yet, without going to the web site for each phone call.

Sorry, no change on this - Member Tools is still the only way to manage call waiting enable/disable.

Late 2013 and early 2014 have come and gone - did that big upgrade every happen? Like the original poster, I too would like *70 for the exact same reason - work-related conference calls.

No, this platform change is still behind other projects. We are spending most of our effort on expanding our Fiber-to-the-premise services.

Another 3 years have gone by. Any chance of ever getting this feature?
