My cell phone is programed to dial my home phone number using the *82 (and a pause) to unblock the cell phone number but when I call home the home phone says it's "unavailable" calling. Any way to get this to work with Fusion? I know I can unblock a specific call with my cell phone but it takes several steps to do so and having the *82 pre-programmed into the cell is very handy. TIA

I don't think you need a pause in a cell phone to unblock.

My cell by default sends the number, and I know that if I want to block it for a specific call, I prefix with *67, but no pauses are needed.

If that's not the issue, then double-check with your cell provider to determine the unblock sequence.

Thanks. After I posted I tried it without the pause and that didn't work either.

What happens if you dial it manually instead of through the directory/contacts?

Have you confirmed with your provider that *82 is the right code to unblock?

Thanks! I did manually dial the *82 but that didn't work. You got it though--it appears my cell phone provider supports *67 but not *82 so I've unblocked my cell number and will try to remember to *67 when appropriate. Thanks for your help with this.

You're welcome.

My cell supports *82, but having calls blocked by default caused other problems, including texting.

In the end, I also unblocked calls and use *67 when needed.
