Recently got the flier that Sonic fiber would be coming to my neighborhood in Berkeley. It says that telephone service is included. I went in my crawlspace to check out the current phone wiring situation. Curious if a Sonic field tech can work with this pretty dated and haphazard wiring job to connect it to the fiber optical network terminal (see attached).

Thanks

Since no reply from Sonic so far...

It really is nice to just ignore that old wiring and plug directly into the telephone jack on the Sonic device. Using something like the Panasonic DECT phone system you can plug in one base unit and then have as many wireless extension phones as you want (or many a 5 phone limit?).

Probably. Each job is custom. Sometimes the field tech will use the wiring or bypass it. Can't know until they are on site and looking at it.
