Can someone please explain the logic for bundling Internet and Phone? I'm paying nearly $15 per month in phone line taxes, surcharges, and fees that I do not use. I'd rather keep the $49.99 price with JUST fiber. Everyone these days has a mobile phone so this seems like either a scam or some government-forced clause to prop-up taxes.

If anyone can explain the logic, that would be great. Thanks!

We understand the frustration of having to pay for a landline service you don't want. By offering it as a bundled package rather than a stand alone internet package it classifies our service as a utility which offers us the ability to bring our service to you. Our CEO also touches a bit on how removing the phone service wouldn't necessarily equate to cheaper service overall. I know it's something we're looking into offering in the future but I don't have a timeline for its availability. If you have any questions let me know.
