Started again this morning, only at home, worked fine all day at work.
Home now, can only connect to bolt.
From home connecting via comcast.
Tried a few times between 3:00 and 3:22. Maybe 5 -6 times.
Once just now at 3:23.

Why is connecting from home through Comcast failing?
Have been at work for 90 minutes, works fine, connects easily and no time outs.
Old/bolt/shell.sonic.net works fine from home.

Thanks,
Vic

I'm not sure, will take a look at the log and see if there is anything amiss.

Vic, I'm not sure why, but your Comcast address ended up in hosts.deny again.

I've made some changes to denyhosts' behavior which should help mitigate this.

Hi Scott,

Support sent me back to the forums for this one.
Maybe you can help me again.

I am having disconnects with my shell account.
The problem is just like what I had in March of 2018.

The fix may be different this time as I am now on a different supplier, no longer comcast.

I am too getting this putty fatal error. On first use, putty prompted to accept key fingerprints, it worked once. Afterwards, it will fail consistently trying to access shell login. I have tried on two PCs and upgraded Putty to the latest version 0.73 without success.

Tried again and it is now working. That is, it goes straight to login prompt. I have not changed anything so I am assuming it is on their end.
