VPN not staying connected (iOS)

I updated OpenVPN on iOS to 1.2.5. When I connect to sonic vpn, I can’t seem to stay connected for more than a few minutes. Anything I can do to troubleshoot and fix this?
Looks like it may be a known OpenVPN issue.
