Having problems loading QUIC websites through ovpn.sonic.net

Just yesterday/today that I couldn't load a bunch of google sites on Chome Version 48.0.2564.116 (64-bit) on OSX 10.11.3 when I'm on ovpn.sonic.net... I have not noticed any other sites breaking. Firefox does not support QUIC so everything worked.

Workaround was to disconnect VPN, change browser, or disable QUIC in chrome://flags/#enable-quic

What's going on and is there a better solution?

Just did a test with Chrome and it QUIC seems to be working for me (watching chrome://net-internals/#quic). I have a Linux router running the openvpn client.
