It's no big deal, but sometimes I need to refresh the tunnel config when DHCP returns a different v4 addy for my router. By chance, has anyone written a shell script to run on OpenWRT to perform this task as part of ifup?

When you do get around to native, consider allocating your prefix delegation addressing blocks for /48, but only assigning to /56 on your end-points so the space is there.

So it looks like native IPv6 just turned on, but the Prefix Delegation is the wrong size. A /64 is useless for subnetting as it is not divisible. It is supposed to be /56 as described here: Best Current Operational Practice for Operators: IPv6 prefix assignment for end-users - persistent vs non-persistent, and what size to choose

A /64 prefix has  about 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 addresses. I believe you can subdivide them into a large number of subnets by extending the mask just like in IPv4. The /64 per subnet requirement is for SLAAC. I prefer to use DHCPv6 instead.

My current Sonic setup gets a /56 PD, but I still run DHCPv6.

Our original rollout was for a /64 delegated prefix, which we have since retracted and converted to /56.
The serving point for your circuit davygrvy has been changed to a /56 as of this maintenance: https://sonicstatus.com/2023/07/05/oakl ... tenance-3/
