According to this article, ISP's are going to begin warning/punishing people who are suspected of downloading illegal material: http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/18/tech/web/ ... index.html

I was curious if Sonic.net is participating in the same program and if so, what effects users could expect to see on their service.

AT&T
Cablevision Systems Corp.
Comcast Corp.
Time Warner Cable

If a customer feels they are being wrongly accused, they can ask for a review, which will cost them $35 according to the Verge.
What a racket.
