RailRoad Square Downtown Fiber progress?

Right down here on Third St near RR square here in SAnta ROsa. THE hometown of Sonic. Just learned about this forum thing. Been with sonic fifteen years. VERY loyal to our local ISP. HAte the big bastages , cable comcast etc. anyway.

My DSL is dropping a lot lately, and I hear about the fiber going in all over, Just when are we going to get some glass down one of the main roads right in here Santa Rosa? The old DSL on copper working so so OK, BUT would really like to have solid connection that didn't fall off the cliff every time it rained or the humidity changes.

We've got two big fiber backbone cables passing through that region, and are providing services to a number of businesses in that area today. Nothing residential yet though - we've gotta walk before we run, building revenue on the business services and the backbone infrastructure.
