Fusion speed drops from ~6mbps to <1mbps

I've been a happy Sonic Fusion customer for over a year. When the service was setup we paid a Sonic tech to come install a brand new line into my office, with new cat 5e cable, directly from the switch box on the exterior of our house. We've been getting around 6mbps since then.

Unfortunately in the last couple of weeks our service randomly drops to less than 1mbps. I've tried resetting my router, resetting the modem and a direct connection from the modem to my computer, but these slow speeds persist.

Any ideas on how to stabilize these speeds back to normal 6mbps levels? Should I try calling support?

Could be a failing modem, perhaps. Contact support!
