I just signed up for Sonic, and have a problem that didn't exist with Comcast. So far my support experience has been subpar, and I'm hoping this will change.
I connect to my home from work via ssh using a tunnel, to monitor some cameras I have, and some personal projects. Since switching to Sonic (Fiber over AT&T) the connection consistently drops as soon as more than a few k are sent upstream from my home network.
The problem is not ssh, I am not asking for help with ssh. The problem is not with my linksys router at home, since the connection worked fine when I was using Comcast. The problem is with the upstream connection. Even catting a file of more than a few K causes the connection to drop. It is unlikely a coincidence, as the problem has been happening consistently for the last 3 weeks, and I'm always able to reconnect immediately after a drop.
My previous post to the forums got no responses, and my query to support@ said "we can't help you, try the forums".
Already feeling disillusioned, from a company that's supposed to have better customer support than Comcast
