Recently, i logged in and i saw an option to upgrade my fusion broadband x2 service to 75Mbps before fees and taxes. Right now I'm on FTTN at 50Mbps which i believe is still at 70$ before fees and taxes.

If I hit this upgrade button, how long does it take for the speed bump to go into effect and will it cause any disruption to my service?

In more cases, than not, this kind of upgrade will require a full installation by a technician. There are some cases where this is not necessary, if the required infrastructure is already present, but the only way to know for sure, is to place the upgrade order. Once the order has been placed, we should be able to tell, in our system, if a tech installation will be needed. In general, the whole process can usually take around 2 weeks, depending on what work is necessary.
