I currently have a FTTNx2 connection which is billed through Sonic but leased from ATT from what I understand. What protections are in place for me regarding any possible issues regarding future NN issues? Do Sonic's policies supersede ATT's possible actions? What assurances do I have that my connection would be exempt from any of ATT's overall polices?

In regards to Sonic's FTTN service, browsing activity is not logged, but IP address allocation information is stored as documented in AT&T's privacy disclosures. Sonic customers are not subject to AT&T's ad monitoring or swapping, nor are they subject to data caps or other retail practices. We buy in bulk, just raw access, which is then sold to our members without any usage limits.

Using Sonic's VPN will add a bit of extra security and privacy as well.
