distance to CO calculation

A friend of mine mentioned Sonic.net to me a few weeks ago, and I have been looking around trying to learn more before making switch.
I remember couple of weeks ago, when I tried the fusion "check availability" tool, it reported that I'm about 7200 ft from the local office. But when I tried again recently, it shown I'm 11980 ft away.
I'm just wondering what happened ? And for that matter which number is correct.

That's odd. Did you check using your telephone number or address, and did you provide the same information both times?
