I currently have Fusion and am getting around 6mbps (I'm 6,700 feet from the CO) and am really happy with the service, though I wish it was just a little faster. Anyways, I was just wondering if you guys had plans to run fiber on the peninsula? The speeds of Comcast are tempting, but we have enough bandwidth to get 1 HD Netflix stream and the price here is right... but it would also be nice to have some more bandwidth to work with :)

We are currently engaged in splicing operations in Sebastopol, and permitting work for San Francisco - these are our two pilot projects. After those are a bit further along, we will be announcing our next steps in the deployment of fiber.

I can say, we will be using Fusion uptake as a primary guide to fiber deployment, as this helps us manage our investment risk.

Will there be fiber in Russian Hill-San Francisco, and would it cost to upgrade?

We are working on a pilot in a small region in the Outer Sunset - that's the only area we have made tangible progress on to date.
