Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to switch out the ONT Adran 411 (https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Adtran_411) with another ONT like the Ubiquiti UF Nano (https://www.ubnt.com/ufiber/ufiber-nano-g).

Advantages
- smaller :)
- power over ethernet
- great status display
- excellent integration in Ubiquiti UniFi Network Management Controller

It is my understanding that this is maybe not possible since Sonic needs / wants to control the ONT endpoint.

If it's possible we would need some GPON configuration details like OLT Profile, potential LOID Authentication or PLOAM password authentication.

Thanks for your help!

No, while both are GPON, the Ubiquity ONT equipment will only work with a Ubiquity OLT. Our Adtran network optical line terminals will not interoperate with the Ubiquity.

Thanks for the reply @dane!
Ah that's ok, we were able to add all the other Ubiquiti hardware after the Adtran 411 minus the UFiber Nango G and the speed sare pretty good. Thanks again!
