Does Sonic proactively notify users before they do maintenance?

We have a competing provider that we like very much but every 3 - 6 months they do maintenance and our Internet is impacted anywhere a 1/2 hour to 6 hours. We have never been told of maintenance ahead of time. I wonder if that is too much to ask, and interested in hearing experience from Sonic users.

Most of our maintenance updates get posted here: https://sonicstatus.com/ and Tweeted by @sonic_status. When the maintenance doesn't impact more than a couple dozen users, we tend to email and text or call to let them know about the maintenance at least 24 hours ahead of time.
