I only follow this forum intermittently so I don't know if this has been answered by Dane or other insider.
Has Sonic considered technical alternatives to using the ILEC CO?

I mention this because the communities around the Bay are being served more and more, but no mention of some denser pockets east of the Caldecott - namely Rossmoor where Comcast has a monopoly. AT&T only offers terrible basic DSL (up to 5 mbps :-() service - no Uverse fiber there yet. A complicating factor are the multiple HOAs to be dealt with, some of which have Comcast contracts. More tech saavy boomers may move there as time goes on.

Is microwave or other technology viable to 'build your own' POP?
TIA, Mike
