Replacement DSL modem for single line Fusion

Hi,
I've been using a Comtrend 5072T for many years (before Sonic had the equipment rental policy), and it finally died. I'm using an even older backup modem, but it's syncing at a lower rate than the Comtrend did. My question: Any recommendations as to what to buy to replace the Comtrend? I can get a used 5072T on eBay but can also get the newer Pace gateways (4111N or 5268AC) for not much more.
