Hello -
I switched from San Bruno Cable's Internet service to Sonic dual FTTN (50 Mbps) roughly a year ago. At that time, I was told that I would be in the early phase of conversion to Sonic's Gigabit offering once it became available. In the mean time, AT&T has Gigabit fiber established in San Bruno. When I call Sonic sales, I can't get an estimate on when I can anticipate Sonic's fiber coverage for San Bruno. I know that Sonic runs its own lines for fiber. Is the AT&T presence going to inhibit Sonic's introduction of its own fiber service to the area? If so, I might have to cave in and switch to AT&T (which I REALLY don't want to do).
Can we get even a speculative ETA and/or some word on what the likely deployment scenarios may be?
Thanks!
