I'm new here and looking at signing up for Sonic. I've been a fan of the company for a while and it finally looks like high speed service is available in my area.

However, it looks like speeds only go up to 50Mb in my area. No gigabit seems to be available here. I also can't see on the website an estimate of when gigabit would be available here even though the Sonic marketing materials say the "Check Availability" page should give an estimate on this.

Any thoughts? Is gigabit coming to the Montclair neighborhood in Oakland any time soon?

would like to know also re: claremont pines. all of the utilities are undergrounded here which makes me think we'll be a dead zone. ATT does not have fiber available here either.

Does anyone from Sonic have any thoughts on this? Thank you.
