I have been using the fiber connection for a while, but all of a sudden I have been getting really slow download speeds

here is a speed test from the sonic site : https://sonic.speedtestcustom.com/resul ... f3d1559501

Any idea what is happening

Hard to say without more information - that kind of speed could be a result from connecting over wireless, your CPU maxing out, etc. If you haven't already I'd get in touch with Support for some real time troubleshooting. They are available 8am-10pm every day of the week. https://sonic.com/support

Having the same problem here in the Sunset. Speed was great, now it’s abysmal. I’ve contacted support and rebooted the Pace router and ONT multiple times to no avail.

Any one else seen a huge drop in speed?

Would you be willing to send me a PM here on the forums so I could take a look at the troubleshooting notes Support has?

Hello,

Those speeds sound like they are done over the 2.4G network. Is this correct? The max attainable WiFi speed when using the 2.4G signal is around 20-100Mbps. Over the 5G WiFi signal, you'll get speeds from 100-400Mbps! When connected via an Ethernet cable directly to the modem your speeds will be closer to 800-1,000Mbps. This may not show up on speedtest sites due to the overhead from burning bandwidth, to test bandwidth. Can you confirm if you are using the 2.4G or 5G signal over WiFi? Also when using WiFi, the performance is directly linked to how many other WiFi networks you have around you (that will cause interference with your signal). I hope this information helps. Keep us updated.
