What's the real story? Are there two fiber lines going on the poles in Albany, or just one. Is it a joint venture, or a resale situation? If a drop drops, who can fix it? Is Sonic starting from the Solano Avenue Central Office and working outward, or starting by running feeds to the hinterlands where DSL sucks, first? @Dane ? Sonic Support?
"An AT&T guy was installing fiber drops to several houses on our street today. I asked him about Sonic. He explained that while Sonic runs its own fiber in some places, in Albany, at least, it's purchasing the bandwidth from AT&T and is going to be totally dependent on AT&T for installs and maintenance."
