So now we have two fiber lines running down our street, but neither are from Sonic. 95 McCoppin got fiber from WebPass and today Wave ran fiber from McCoppin Street to 1355 Stevenson St. Both of these companies were able to pull the fiber underground up McCoppin Street, and then use the aerial utility poles on Stevenson St. From my understanding Sonic doesn't see it as economically viable to do the underground fiber pull the 200 feet up McCoppin.
Meanwhile, I'm still sitting tight with my Sonic VDSL 108Mbps down 60Mbps up, so it's not the end of the world.
