Again, try speedtest desktop. It bypasses the browser which is likely the bottleneck in this situation, and is far far better at saturating your connection.

Here is a test I was able to get today on a 2012 Mac Mini server running 10.12.6:

915 Mb/s Down, 744Mb/s Up using Unwired server in San Francisco. Comparing to various browsers, the app seems to be giving me 100 to 200 Mb/s faster speeds. Note that this test was run with:

ONT <--> ASUS Firewall using CTF <--> Gigabit Switch <--> Mac Mini server

So I wouldn't be surprised if it would improve if I connected directly.

I did switch to the desktop app. I see average speeds that are close to 900 Mbps up and down. Thanks!
