Super slow download speeds, fast uploads

Any thoughts as to why my download speeds are so slow (1/10th Comcast's equivalent service, very noticeable). There appears to be nothing wrong with the wifi or the link (uploads test as blazing fast). Will be sad to cancel... Noe Valley
