Gigabit Service

Hey, folks. If you're a Santa Rosa resident such as myself and have subscribed to Sonic's service for years, we're charter members! I think that deserves some special attention. Sonic has rolled out gigabit service to parts of Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Brentwood. If you're not familiar with the term gigabit, it's 1,000 megabits per second. That's awesome speed! Who wouldn't want that? I now know that some of their lines in Santa Rosa have been damaged by the fire and would necessitate replacing copper or fiber optic cable. What better time than for Sonic to lay fiber optic cable for the fastest service? The company claims that they move neighborhoods up in priority if a lot of people call and request the service. Let's start lobbying them with phone calls requesting the upgrade to gigabit service. I'll be the first!
