San Francisco commissioned a report from CTC Technology & Energy that includes a proposal to build a municipal FTTH at a cost of ~$1.5B.

Dane, what is Sonic's take on this proposal? It seems like your company has the expertise to build such a network.

This will probably never happen. Comcast & AT&T will sue and block this plan.

Doubt Sonic will spear head it. Depending on how serious the city gets, I am sure Sonic will put a bid in to do the work. Other than that, I don't seem them too involved honestly.

With how they got fiber strung now, I am sure they will be involved/interested in undergrounding there current lines...
