Why the bundle?

Why do you guys insist on saying Data is only $40 a month, when in reality you can't buy Data-only for $40 a month.

Basically can only get it for $60 a month - if you remove the telephone, price goes up $10, if you remove the wifi router you add $10.

Just be honest. You aren't Comcast. Or give me an explanation that makes sense?

Because they have to sell data + phone to be labeled as a telco company by the local gov. ( this is a short version of a longer post that Dane posted some time ago and I am too lazy to dig for )
