Or get a cheap Wi-Fi access point or router (with low range), plug it into the Sonic router, give it an SSID of tingtingcj1-guest, and give it a different password. That way, if it's necessary to change the password, only the guests and freeloaders are affected, not the entire household.

This is assuming that the current router doesn't have a guest network that's currently disabled.

For the 5268AC router:

1. Go to gateway.sonic.net
2. Navigate to “Settings” tab
3. Select “LAN” sub-tab on the Settings tab
4. Select “Wi-FI” underneath the LAN sub-tab
5. Go to the “Security” section of the Wi-Fi page
6. Select the “Set custom encryption key” radio button
7. Enter your new (non-default) wi-fi password into the field next to the “Set custom encryption key” radio button
8. Scroll down the page to the “Save” button located on the right side of the page

END

Note that your router is listed on the home page of gateway.sonic.net; you can use this to ask the Google "manual for ..." with "..." being your router model.

How do you see that? I get an insecure HTTPS warning, followed by:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /prime-home/control-panel/login on this server.
