I hope you realise it's only U-Verse, which in my opinion is much better than Comcrap, if you can't get Sonic.net fusion.

I don't think it's actually fiber to the home. AT&T's been selling U-Verse (which is new, faster DSL) as "we're doing fiber upgrades in your neighborhood, would you like to buy our U-Verse product?" It's kinda bogus.

But - if your loop is long and we cannot deliver enough speed, I won't be offended if you switch! Just take note of the final costs, equipment cost, etc - it's an expensive product after the short-term intro rate.
