Is anyone else having issues with the AT&T DNS server being consistently down/dropping out?
It was down most the weekend, and down again this morning.

I would love to switch to Google's DNS server, but the stupid AT&T router has the DNS server hardcoded. I have switched on 1-2 computers where the settings could be accessed.

Also, I've been having issues with extremely slow upload speeds <256kbps, any thoughts?

If you are getting the same set of AT&T servers as I am:

nameserver 68.94.156.1
nameserver 68.94.157.1

... then they don't seem to be giving me any trouble.

That slow upload makes me wonder if you have a device on your LAN that is either doing heavy upload or is otherwise interfering with the the network.

You can change your WIFI password to force all clients off (once the DHCP leases run out), and obviously you can unplug wired hosts.

After that you test from the one connected device to see if the upload speed goes back up to normal.
